Ransomware contained before correlation begins.

Helm stops the encryption at the data layer, so QRadar starts from an attack that is already contained.

Contained at the source. Clear in your SIEM.

Helm contains ransomware at the data layer and sends a full record of every action into IBM QRadar. The incident your analysts open is already contained and ready to be investigated and remediated, while the business keeps moving.

How Helm strengthens IBM QRadar.

Correlation takes time, and ransomware uses every second of it. Helm doesn’t wait: it detects active encryption in under a second on file shares, servers and Microsoft 365, and contains the attack on fixed rules your team can read. Correlation then starts from an incident that is already contained.

IBM QRadar SIEM collects log and network flow data, correlates related events into incidents and lets teams search with AQL, the Ariel Query Language. Many organisations run it on-premises, which IBM continues to support after selling its QRadar SaaS business to Palo Alto Networks in 2024. QRadar shows the pattern. Helm makes sure it ends in containment.

Helm’s record, in QRadar’s own format.

Helm sends each incident to QRadar as a syslog event in LEEF, QRadar’s native event format: the files affected, the account and device involved, and each containment action, with timestamps. Your rules can raise it as an incident, and your analysts can search it with AQL next to log and flow data from the rest of the estate.

The record stays under the retention you already apply, ready when auditors or regulators ask what happened.

A stack that works as one.

Helm adds the containment and the evidence. QRadar keeps the correlation your team relies on. Helm also sends standard syslog and CEF, so the record can follow you if your SIEM changes.
