Helm reads what happens to your files, so the controls you already trust act on what matters.
Talk to usHelm watches your files and acts on the rules you set. When it detects ransomware, it can have Trellix, formerly McAfee, contain the devices involved, using the policies your team already manages.
The cost of a ransomware attack is counted in files. Helm watches those files directly, on file shares, servers and Microsoft 365. It detects encryption in under a second and contains the attack on rules your team can read, wherever the attack started.
Trellix brings together the former McAfee Enterprise and FireEye businesses. Its endpoint security runs as one agent on each device, managed from ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO), a central console for policy, deployment and compliance across on-premises, cloud and hybrid estates. Helm protects the data. Trellix enforces your policies on the device.
In ePolicy Orchestrator, Helm can tag the device involved, found by host name or by user, and wake its agent so the isolation policy you have set up applies straight away. With Trellix Endpoint Security (HX), Helm can request containment of a named host, or of every Windows device belonging to the compromised user, through the HX API.
Either way, the action follows a policy your team defined, and each step is recorded in the Helm incident.
Helm adds the data layer and acts on the rules you set, while Trellix enforces the containment on each device. If parts of your estate run other protection, see how Helm works with Microsoft Defender and Sophos.
